Knowledge Hub+ Subscription Policy

Knowledge Hub+, a learning platform offered via a subscription service at The American College of Financial Services (‘The College’), curates just-in-time insights from sought-after academics, industry innovators, financial planning experts, and practice management leaders into one dynamic experience. Knowledge Hub+ delivers over 60 hours of combined CFP® and College-approved continuing education (CE), with new growth-focused content released monthly. Additionally, Knowledge Hub+ provides the added value of automated reporting of CE credit to the CFP Board and The College's records (the ‘Services’). This feature eliminates administrative headaches, making it easier for members of The College’s Professional Recertification Program and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals to fulfill their thirty-hour CE requirement every two years.

Subscription Registration, Annual Term, Automatic Renewal, Cancellation & Refunds.

By subscribing to Knowledge Hub+, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.

Registration

Registration is required for the use of Knowledge Hub+. We will not grant any user access to Knowledge Hub+ unless he or she has completed the necessary registration and paid the applicable fees.

Annual Billing Term

By providing a credit card or other payment method that we accept, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the designated payment method.

The College (or our third-party payment processor) is authorized to charge you on an annual basis for your subscription, in addition to any applicable taxes and other charges, for as long as your subscription to Knowledge Hub+ continues.

If the payment method cannot be verified, is invalid or is otherwise not acceptable, your account may be suspended until your payment is processed. You must resolve any problem we encounter to proceed.

The College reserves the right to modify the price of Knowledge Hub+ at our discretion at any time.  You will receive notice of any price modification and you have the right to cancel your Knowledge Hub+ subscription at any time.

For more information about pricing, please visit https://www.theamericancollege.edu/knowledge-hub-plus.

Automatic Renewal

Your subscription term begins when you subscribe to Knowledge Hub+ and, unless you cancel your subscription as described below or we suspend or stop providing access to the Services in accordance with these terms, will automatically renew, after the thirty (30) day annual renewal notice is sent, on the date you enrolled annually, at the then-current fees.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by following the steps below:

  1. Log into My Learning Hub.
  2. Click the “Manage” button found on “My Subscription.”
  3. After you complete the two-factor authentication process, click on “Cancel Subscription” found on the “Overview” page.
  4. Confirm your cancellation.

Cancellations must be completed by the designated account owner or an authorized signatory. Inactivity does not constitute automatic cancellation, so unless you cancel your account in accordance with this section, you will continue to be charged for subscription to Knowledge Hub+.

All cancellation requests will take effect at the end of the then-current annual subscription period in which the cancellation request is made, and you will be responsible for all fees and any applicable taxes and other charges rendered up through the cancellation date.

You will have continued access to Knowledge Hub+ for the remainder of your paid annual subscription period.  You must cancel your subscription before it renews to avoid paying the subscription fees for the next annual subscription period.

You acknowledge and agree that, to the extent not prohibited by applicable law, cancellation of your subscription is your sole recourse if you have any dissatisfaction, issue or concern related to Knowledge Hub+, its content or features, including fees, applicable taxes, or billing methods; the selection of content available to you through the Services; the Terms, or any changes thereto; or any other policies or practices that apply to Knowledge Hub+.

No Refunds

TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

As described herein, even if you cancel your subscription to Knowledge Hub+ before the end of your annual subscription period, as applicable, you will not receive a refund for any portion of the Fees for the remainder of that subscription period.

If you are currently enrolled in your final course in the CAP®, ChFC®, ChSNC®, CLF®, CLU®, FSCP®, RICP®, or WMCP® Programs, please reconsider subscribing to Knowledge Hub+. Once your designation is conferred, you will be able to enroll in Knowledge Hub+ as a member of The College's Professional Recertification Program without having to pay the annual subscription fee. If you subscribe or renew in Knowledge Hub+ and earn your designation within the yearly subscription period, you are not entitled to a refund. In rare circumstances, we may provide a credit, refund, discount, or other consideration to some or all of our subscribers (“Credits”). The amount and form of such Credits, and the decision to provide them, are at our sole discretion. The provision of Credits in one instance does not entitle you to Credits in the future for similar instances, nor does it obligate us to provide Credits in the future, under any circumstance.
