Sahar Pouyanrad is an executive director and the West Regional Trust Team Leader for the trusts and estates team for J.P. Morgan Private Bank. In this capacity, she is responsible for oversight and administration of trust accounts and related services for the firm’s fiduciary clients across the West Region, with a primary focus on ultra-high-net-worth families. Pouyanrad collaborates with colleagues across different business lines to deliver robust banking products for wealthy, complex, and multigenerational families. As the head of new business, she is responsible for partnering with legal, compliance, and risk management to drive new business, manage risk by overseeing review of potential trust and estate opportunities, and work with senior leadership to set new business parameters relating to trusts and estates. Formerly at City National Bank for 12 years, Pouyanrad served as vice president and senior trust officer and held a range of client-focused, business development, project management, and team-lead roles.

Pouyanrad holds her bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, Northridge and her Executive Master of Business Administration from Quantic School of Business and Technology. She additionally holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CFTA) designation, the distinctive Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®), Certified Estate Planner® (CEP®), Chartered Special Needs Consultant® (ChSNC®), and Personal Financial Planning designations.

Pouyanrad is an award-winning member of Toastmasters International and a frequent speaker on trust and estate subject matters. She is a past president of the San Fernando Valley Estate Planning Council and serves on the board of directors for the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils, as well as The American College of Financial Services Alumni Council, and the American Bankers Association (ABA) Trust School Advisory Board and teaching panel. She has been recognized by the ABA with the Under 40 in Wealth Management and by The College with the Women Working in Wealth awards. She enjoys volunteering her time for valuable causes, such as serving on the Jewish Vocational Services (JVS) SoCal Scholarship Committee, as a mentor for the JVS SoCal WoMentoring program, and as an active member of the WM Solutions Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council at J.P. Morgan. She proudly serves as the chairperson of the executive board for ONEgeneration, a multicultural and intergenerational nonprofit focused on enriching the lives of seniors, children, and their families. Pouyanrad resides in Encino, California, with her husband and two children.
